Former One Direction star Harry Styles was spotted for the first time in his newly chopped locks on the sets of Christopher Nolan’s World War II film Dunkirk.
Styles, 22, had posted a photo featuring his cut-off ponytail earlier this month and said that the hair would go to a charity that provides wigs for young cancer patients.

He was seen sporting the 1940’s-esque hairstyle for Nolan’s movie, reported Aceshowbiz.
The film is based on the real life Dunkirk evacuation from the French coast, which was one of the biggest operations of the Second World War.

{{/usCountry}}While the name of Styles’ character is yet to be revealed, he was seen wearing a brown military jacket atop an olive shirt and also sported a bloody bandage at one point, indicating he his character could be one of the 338,000 troops evacuated from Dunkirk.
Dunkirk is scheduled for a July 21, 2017 release.
