A good movie can transport you to wondrous new places. It can inform you, enlighten you, inspire you. The craft and skill that goes into making a good film is immense, and often overlooked. That, however is the secret. If you aren't paying any attention to the music, the effects or the cinematography it means that the people behind it have succeeded. They've made a film that has enveloped you. The story has taken over and you are, for those glorious few hours, living a fantasy. We never really know, with the advancements in modern CG, what is real and what isn't. Most of the effects are so beautifully rendered by artists that it's impossible to identify them.
