21-year-old e-rickshaw driver dies by suicide in UP's Ballia after father's scolding

The body of deceased, an e-rickshaw driver, was found hanging from a tree in the Garwar police station area on Wednesday morning, they said.

The body of the e-rickshaw driver, was found hanging from a tree in the Garwar police station area on Wednesday morning, they said.

SHO Hitesh Kumar said police reached the spot after receiving information, took custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem.

According to the officer, the deceased's father scolded him two days ago over his alleged failure to heed family members' advice. Police suspect the incident may have prompted him to take the extreme step.

Further investigations are underway.
