Rape survivor stabbed to death by accused out on bail in Haryana’s Karnal

A 24-year-old rape survivor was allegedly stabbed to death at her home in Karnal by the accused, who was out on bail.

A 24-year-old rape survivor was stabbed to death at her house in Haryana’s Karnal on Wednesday night, allegedly by the accused, who was out on bail.

A rape survivor and mother of two was allegedly killed by her neighbour in Karnal, Haryana, who was out on bail in the case.

The deceased, a mother of two young children aged four years and nine months, was taken to the civil hospital by her brother-in-law, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.

According to her husband, the accused, who was her neighbour, had been harassing the family for two years. He alleged that the accused had previously raped his wife inside their home, leading to the registration of a criminal case against him.

“Later, the accused fought with me over the same issue. We lodged another case against him, but now he has killed my wife,” the husband told reporters.
