Dhananjaya de Silva scored a brilliant century that helped Sri Lanka deny Virat Kohli’s side a win in the third and final Test match of the series in New Delhi. Sri Lanka were faced with the envious task of batting through the whole day with seven wickets in hand after ending the penultimate day on 31/3. Ravindra Jadeja dismissed Angelo Mathews early in the day. After lunch, R Ashwin got rid of skipper Dinesh Chandimal. But even after De Silva retired with an injury, Roshen Silva and Niroshan Dickwella batted well in the final session to save the match. India won the series 1-0 to record their ninth consecutive Test series win on the trot. Get full cricket score of India vs Sri Lanka, third Test, Day 5 here.
