Aircraft tyre bursts in Chennai, no casualties

Apparently, the passengers travelling by the airbus A300 did not experience any discomfort inspite of the tyre burst.

A tyre of an airbus A300 belonging to Indian Airlines, burst immediately after it landed in Chennai on Monday, but all the 152 passengers on board were safe, airport sources said.

"Ground Engineers found tyre number three deflated," Indian (formerly Indian Airlines) sources said. The flight landed in Chennai at 11:10 am. Passengers did not experience even the slightest discomfort due to this, airport sources said.
