She will be showcasing her designs for the first time at India Fashion Week. Her clothes are sexy and feminine, with evening wear, elegant gowns and dresses and sharp tailoring and separates. She is the only Indian designer to retail at Saks Fifth Avenue, Dubai and is one of the most sought after designers in the region.
She will be opening a flagship store at the prestigious Village Mall in Dubai in March, where she will sell her prêt, couture and bridal lines (haute couture). Ayesha Depala is famed for her use of light flowing fabrics and delicate embroidery. Fluid, diaphanous gowns and dresses are a mainstay of her collections. Colour palettes are muted and soft, and the embroidery rich but delicate. The paisley motif has become synonymous with her work, which will be included in the book "Romance With Paisley" along with Oscar de la Renta and Bill Blass.
