BJP's Udhampur candidate files papers

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Udhampur parliamentary constituency Jatinder Singh Rana filed his nomination paper with returning officer and Kathua DC Jatinder Kumar Singh here on Saturday.

Rana was accompanied by a large number of supporters and activists of the BJP who took out a massive rally with great pomp and show from Kalibari to the DC's office.

The BJP supporters raised slogans like "Jatinder Rana zindabad" and "Narendra Modi zindabad".

After filing his nomination, Rana said the next union government will be led by the BJP under the leadership of Narendra Modi. He added that if MP Lal Singh wants he is most welcome in the BJP.
