In fact, he is composing for at least a dozen films right now.

Daboo Malik debuted as a music composer with the hit track "Thoda Sa Pyaar Hua Hai Thoda Hai Baaki" in the film "Maine Dil Tujhko Diya", featuring Sohail Khan and Sameera Reddy, reports Bollywood Trade.

Malik also creates background scores and is currently working on the same for "Nehle Pe Dehla", which has actors Sanjay Dutt and Saif Ali Khan. He is also working on his music album titled "Kuchh Pal".

The composer will be creating music for a number of films which include Jimmy Shergill and Hrishitaa Bhatt's "Khaffa"; "Jeet" with Sohail Khan and Amrita Arora; "Kiss Se Pyaar Karon" with Ashish Choudhary, Arshad Warsi, Aarti Chhabria and Udita Goswami; "Humrahi" starring Isha Koppikar and Aamir Ali; and finally "Raakh" starring Sohail Khan and Mithun Chakraborty.

More and more of Bollywood actors are finding a place for themselves in Hollywood. The latest to make a foray is actor Irrfan Khan.

The actor has been signed on to play a Sikh character in a film called "Partition". Scripted by Vic Sareen, who was instrumental in Irrfan bagging the role, the film is being directed by a Canadian filmmaker, reports Bollywood Trade.

Essentially a human interest story, the film is set against the backdrop of the 1947 partition of the Indian subcontinent and its impact on the peace process. The scenes will be shot in Canada and Chandigarh.

Irrfan plays a Sikh character who detests Muslims and wants the partition to take place. Irrfan will reportedly be the only Indian actor in the cast.

In Bollywood, Irrfan has an interesting line-up of films for the next few months. Among his forthcoming releases are a comedy called "Saare Saath Phere" with Juhi Chawla, and Vivek Agnihtori's thriller "Chocolate".

He has also finished shooting for Mira Nair's, "The Namesake", in which he is paired opposite Tabu. And lastly, Irrfan has Naseeruddin Shah's thriller, "Udaan", in which he will play the role of a young man involved with an older woman.
