Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala said on Sunday Rs 319 crore would be spent on the construction of new water courses and repairing the existing ones in the State so as to make optimum use of water available for irrigation purposes.

Addressing a public meeting in Jind, Chautala said the State Government had provided 25 per cent more water for irrigation during this year as compared to last yer.
