Food buffs, get set to play the food critic and celebrate culinary excellence — the country’s biggest food extravaganza, HT City Crystals awards, that let you discover and honour the very best in the world of food, are back!
Hailed as the food Oscars of India, the annual reader-voted people’s choice awards will see foodies voting for their favourite restaurants and nightspots from a list of 121 ‘top tables’ restaurants and 14 bars.
The nominees, among all other restaurants, will be featured in the new edition of the Hindustan Times Food Guide 2011.
Last year, a record three-lakh voters sent in their SMSs to choose the best amongst categories like the Best North Indian, Best Italian, Best Coffee Shop etc. This year, too, there are ten categories. So, watch out for the HT City special crystal pages in this paper every Friday-Saturday starting September 9, for the list of nominees, their reviews and respective voting codes.
It’s for you to decide which of your favourite restaurants walks away with the coveted Crystal Award at a gala event in October.
