Sameer (Salman Khan) comes down from Italy to learn singing from her father and falls in love with the daughter. Sameer is a mischievous boy who loves dancing and singing.

There's also a lawyer who is in love with Nandini, Vanraj (Ajay Devgan). His family proposes marriage and with Nandini's parents' acceptance Nandini and Vanraj tie the nuptial knot. Soon Vanraj learns about Sameer and decides he doesn't want to live with Nandini who loves Sameer.

He then decides to take Nandini to Italy and let her live with Sameer, but things turn the other way round and Nandini's conscience brings change in her commitment and she ultimately decides to live happily with Vanraj.

The nicest things about this film are the songs and cinematography.

His next film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam showcases another facet of his skills. With a simple story about relationships and the individual's place in them, the film was a visual splendour. It met huge success and brought more fame to Sanjay as a Director.

Devdas was Bhansali's attempt to present the epic saga of Devdas in its most sensitive and grand manner. The film was in a way a tribute to one of India's best known love story.
