Hyderabad: Man commits suicide after killing twin daughters, wife

A 30-year-old man allegedly committed suicide along with his wife after killing his twin daughters at their house in Mallepally in Seetharambagh area in Hyderabad

A 30-year-old man allegedly committed suicide along with his wife after killing his twin daughters at their house in Mallepally in Seetharambagh area in Hyderabad, police said on Monday.

Balraj (30) allegedly gave some poisonous substance mixed with milk to his two daughters - Medha and Meghana (one and a half years old) - besides administering the poison to his wife Surekha (25), before hanging himself last night, they said.

“No suicide note was found. However, based on preliminary investigation it seems due to financial problems, the family members ended their lives,” said Habeeb Nagar Police Station Inpsector R Sanjay Kumar .

A case has been booked and further investigations are underway.
