Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt reached Mumbai post his release from Yerawada prison on Thursday morning after serving 42 months for possessing an AK-56 supplied by gangsters behind a series of bomb blasts in Mumbai in 1993. Dutt kissed the ground as he walked free from the jail in Pune, after authorities decided to release him ahead of schedule for good behaviour.

Sanjay Dutt walked free from Pune’s Yerawada Jail on Thursday morning after completing his prison term following his conviction in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.

Dutt’s release from the prison was quite a moment for his fans. The actor also looked like living in the moment.

Dutt had a wide smile on his face while coming out of jail.

Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani was at the jail gate to welcome his friend. They worked together in Munnabhai series.

Sanjay Dutt and Rajkumar Hirani have a special place in each other’s heart.
