Indians in Russia pay tribute to Gandhi

Members of Indian community in Russia led by Ambassador Kanwal Sibal paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary on Saturday.

Members of the Indian community led by Ambassador Kanwal Sibal paid floral tributes to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his 135th birth anniversary on Saturday.

At a solemn ceremony at the Gandhi statue near Moscow State University campus, students of Kendriya Vidyalaya sang Gandhi's favourite songs.

This year, Gandhi Jayanti celebrations were also attended by members of the Indian scientific delegation attending the session of Joint Council of Long-Term Integrated Programme of Science and Technology with Russia.
