Jayanti Patnaik, wife of Orissa PCC President and former Chief Minister J B Patnaik, has been nominated by the Congress to contest from Cuttack in Orissa in the coming Lok Sabha polls.

The Congress also announced the names of six candidates for the Assembly polls. They are: Deen Krishna (Baripada), Anchal Das (Jajpur-SC), Benudhar Bhoi (Balipatna-SC), K K Devi (Suruda), P Subala Sahu (Bijpur) and Sadhu Nepak (Baragarh).
