The victim, Ganga Ram, is a PWD official with Delhi government and a resident of Faridabad Sector 10. He was waiting for an auto-rickshaw near Sector 12 when the incident happened.

“I informed officials of Central police station but they referred me to Sector 12 police chowki. But even today the case has not been registered,” Ram said in his complaint.
