A militant hideout was busted on Saturday in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir in a joint operation by Army and state police.

Based on specific intelligence inputs, security forces launched the operation in Samot area of Rajouri and found the hideout, a Defence spokesman said.

One AK-47 rifle with 3 magazines, 3 Chinese grenades, 139 rounds of AK-47 and 1 wireless set were recovered from the hideout, he said.
