While Percat led Jordan King and Alice Powell home to the finish line, the highlight of the race was the feisty show of hard racing by two-time Indian rally champion Gaurav Gill.Gill managed to climb as high as fourth place after two laps of the 10-lap race before being hustled hard by Finland's Jukka Honkavouri and Zaamin Jaffer. The three constantly traded positions until the very last lap when Honkavouri, Jaffer and Gill crossed the line in 5th, 6th and 7th places respectively.

Not so fortunate was Ashwin Sundar who had to start on the back of the grid because of changing his engine before the race.

Percat was the firm favourite because to his impressive racing credentials that include a win at this year's Bathurst 1000, a 1,000 km race held at the Mount Panorama circuit in Australia, which is considered to be one of the greatest road racing circuits in the world.
