Prisoner commits suicide

Sandeep, son of Satyavan and resident of Baroda village in Gohana, was lodged in the jail on Tuesday on charges of rape and kidnap of a girl. He committed suicide on Wednesday.

A suicide note was also recovered from near his body.

The police has sent the body for post-mortem on the orders of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, who visited the district jail.
