Govinda has been known for his superstitious nature in the film industry and he has once again reaffirmed this. Govinda has asked director Tigmanshu Dhulia to change the lyrics of a certain song in the movie Showman, as he received the news of Salman Khan's dog's death while listening to it.

According to a source Govinda went up to the director and said that the two lines in the song were jinxed. The actor also said that if listening to the lyrics can bring such bad news, what effect would picturising the song have?
Tigmanshu had to accept Govinda's demand for he probably didn't want to delay the film. Govinda earlier made Tigmanshu to change the title of his film King Con To Showman.
