Two BSF jawans were seriously injured in a landmine explosion by extremists at Sudhikunta in Orissa's Malkangiri district, police said.

Two BSF jawans were seriously injured in a landmine explosion by extremists at Sudhikunta in Orissa's Malkangiri district, police said today.

The jawans were patrolling the area, under Kalimela police station, on foot yesterday when the device was detonated.

Police also fired at the ultras leading to an exchange of fire.
