Police said the grenade was hurled at a paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bunker near the Batmaloo bus stand, one kilometre from the city centre Lal Chowk.

“The grenade exploded on the road injuring two civilian passers-by. The injured have been shifted to the hospital for treatment," said a police official.
