Both the jawans were employed with the Home Guards of Madhya Pradesh Police.

The Home Guard, Tulsi Ram posted at the residence of district collector R A Khadelwal disappeared on Tuesday after performing his duties for nearly an hour on the main gate.

His body was found hanging from a tree in the morning with a suicide note claiming that he took the extreme step due to severe back pain, they said.

Another Home Guard identified as Satish Patel committed suicide at his residence on Wednesday after performing his duty at the office.

He told his wife that a jawan has committed suicide in the collector's residence and was scared of the incident. Later, he also took the extreme step in an adjacent room by hanging himself with the help of a towel, police said.
