A 30-year-old woman from Ulhasnagar has registered a case of molestation against a ward boy from ESIS hospital. The ward boy is currently absconding. Police are looking for the accused.
Inspector Rajendra Awahad, Central police station, said, "The woman was admitted to ESIS hospital for a family planning operation. Because of complications during the operation, the woman who had been anaesthetised was brought to the ward from the operation theatre.
When she regained consciousness, the woman said she found the ward boy Keshev Ganpat Koli, 56, pressing her private parts. The woman shouted out for her relatives after which they approached the police."
Dr Wathore, superintendent, ESIS hospital, confirmed that the woman patient had filed a complaint, but refused to say any more over the phone.
