Kota: 2 nabbed with 24.8 kg marijuana

Kota City Police on Saturday nabbed two persons and seized around 24.8 kg of marijuana from them in Kota City. The arrest is a part of the Kota City Police's ongoing drive against illicit narcotic drug peddling.

Additional superintendent of police, Kota City, Shantanu Kumar, said the Gumanpura Police stopped a car on the Link road in Kota City, in which the accused were travelling.

Police found 24 kilograms and 800 grams of marijuana from their car.

The accused, identified as Brijesh Goswami and Om Prakash (car driver) were then arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
