Minor tremors felt in Kolkata

A minor earthquake shook parts of Kolkata, Howrah and South 24-Parganas districts at 7pm on Saturday. The intensity of the quake was 3.6 on the Richter scale.

Alipur Met office said the epicentre was in South 24-Parganas and the tremors lasted for a second. It was also felt in parts of Bangladesh.
