After taking over Colaba and Todi Mills in Lower Parel, Social comes to Palladium - its third outlet in Mumbai. The café-cum-co-working space features a craft beer tasting room with more than a dozen brews on tap. Beer lovers are spoilt for choices and can pick from local breweries like Gateway Brewing Co and The White Owl, to international favourites like Erdinger Dunkel, Stella Artois and Hoegaarden.
However, our favourite for the night was Bira 91, a popular home-grown beer, which has already got a good fan-following going for it in Delhi and Bengaluru. We especially loved the Blonde for its extra hoppy lager-ish feel. Keeping beer tastings in mind, the menu too features lots and lots of burgers. The Pulled Pork & Mango Burger is a must-try. As is the SMS burger - spinach, mushroom and Swiss cheese.
The 2,500 sq ft space has a grungy feel, which manages to separate the whole mall vibe that many other outlets in the past have failed to do.
