Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal trained his guns on BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the launch of Aam Aadmi Party’s manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections.
The AAP chief said the 2019 polls could be a turning point for India. “The 2019 election is to save nation, save Constitution. We are Indians first, then Hindu or Muslim,” said Kejriwal.
He said the key promise of his party is to defeat the BJP and to remove Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah from power. “We will do everything to stop the Modi-Shah duo. We will support any grand alliance government. The BJP is against minorities. We are Indians first, then Hindu or Muslim,” he added.

Arvind Kejriwal also took a swipe at Congress chief at Rahul Gandhi and blamed him for failing to forge an alliance. “Want to ask Rahul Gandhi which alliance is formed on Twitter. If Modi, Shah return to power, only he (Rahul Gandhi) will be responsible,” said the Delhi CM.
Kejriwal said the AAP tries its best to forge an alliance but it seemed the Congress wasn’t serious about it. Congress and AAP were in discussions for weeks but at the last minute the talks failed over AAP’s demand for alliance outside Delhi.
The AAP manifesto promised statehood for Delhi, a long-standing demand of the ruling party. Kejriwal said Delhi can be on a par with other capital cities only when it gets statehood. “We will continue this fight,” he added.
