Indian Union Muslim League’s PK Kunhalikutty is the sitting MP. Kunhalikutty was elected in a by-election in 2017, after the then sitting MP E Ahamed of the IUML passed away in February 2017.

Kunhalikutty defeated his closes rival, CPI(M)’s MB Faisal by a margin of 171,023 votes

The general elections will be held across India in seven phases beginning April 11 and the counting of votes will take place on May 23.
