Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Mayawati blesses Akhilesh Yadav’s wife Dimple, calls her ‘part of my family’

At a joint rally in Kannauj, where SP chief Akhilesh Yadav’s wife Dimple Yadav is the alliance candidate for the Lok Sabha election, BSP chief Mayawati said the crowd present at the rally indicated that the people had made up their mind to remove the BJP and Narendra Modi.

While BSP chief Mayawati on Thursday gave a new slogan “Namo Namo Hatana Hai, Jai Bheem Lana hai, Samajwadi party president Akhilesh Yadav said his party alliance with the BSP and the RLD in Uttar Pradesh will give the country a new prime minister.

At a joint rally in Kannauj, where Akhilesh’s wife Dimple Yadav is the alliance candidate, the BSP chief said the crowd present at the rally indicated that the people had made up their mind to remove the BJP and Narendra Modi. Dimple Yadav touched Mayawati’s feet on the stage and was blessed by the BSP chief affectionately. During the rally, Mayawati said Dimple was like a member of her family. Terming Dimple as a “mature” woman, Mayawati said, “SP president Akhilesh respects me as an elder of the family and after this gathbandhan, I also have accepted Dimple as a part of my family.”

She also appealed to the public to vote for Dimple. “Make her (Dimple) win by record margin,” she said.

Akhilesh said the BJP was rattled and trying to mislead the people. He said the PM and the BJP had nothing say about their performance in the last five years. RLD chief Ajit Singh said the BJP betrayed the farmers.
