BJP to take out two 'Jan Swabhiman yatras' in UP

With an eye on the forthcoming Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, BJP has decided to take out two "Jan Swabhiman yatras" from different parts of the state over the issue of corruption and "poor" law and order.

With an eye on the forthcoming Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, BJP has decided to take out two "Jan Swabhiman yatras" from different parts of the state over the issue of corruption and "poor" law and order.

"The two yatras would raise the issue of corruption of the government, poor law and order and loot of public money," BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said.

The first yatra would start from Bharat Mata Mandir in Kashi and the other one would commence from Nagla Chandrabhan, birth place of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, in Mathura.

While former BJP president Rajnath Singh would lead the yatra from Mathura, second yatra from Kashi would be led by national vice-president Kalraj Mishra.

The yatra would commence from October 13 and end on October 22.

"31 districts would be covered in he first phase of yatra. Yatra starting from Mathura would culminate at Lakhimpur, whereas another one would end at Jalaun on October 22," Pathak said.
