Housefull 3 quick take: Watch this film for Akshay Kumar’s comic timings

Housefull 3 is back with more gags, more one-liners and more Akshay Kumar. The film which also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan lacks story but offers more than ample slapstick.

Nobody can match Akshay Kumar’s comic timing in Bollywood, and he is out there with his gang to prove this once again. Directed by Sajid-Farhad, Housefull 3 -- also starring Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Nargis Fakhri, Lisa Haydon and Jacqueline Fernandez -- is the latest in the commercially successful Housefull series.

Like previous films, this one is also dependent on one liners, and the writers don’t disappoint on this front.

Housefull 3’s USP are its one-liners and the stars’ chemistry with each other.

The film opens with a doting father Batook Patel, played by Boman Irani, who doesn’t want his three daughters (Jacqueline, Lisa and Nargis) to get married unless they find suitable grooms. The daughters fall in love with the three leads of the film (Akshay, Riteish and Abhishek), but Patel doesn’t like them. Now, he starts conspiring to avoid the impending weddings.

The film is dependent on gags and one-liners to a large extent.

More than the story per se, you will enjoy the comic drama and how it unfolds.

The songs add to the glamour quotient, but whether you enjoy Housefull 3 will be mostly dependent on the kind of comedies that appeal to you.
