Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis put the Metro-7 corridor – Andheri (East) to Dahisar (East) stretch – on the right track on Tuesday by launching its first U girder.

At the launch of the girder, Fadnavis reiterated that the government is working towards operationalising Metro corridor by 2019. CM Devendra also tweeted about the launch, saying, “Witnessed placement of viaduct for Metro line 7 at Pathanwadi in Malad Mumbai with senior MMRDA officials.”
While Mumbaiites may cheer at the development, they had to go through a harrowing time as the western express highway had to be shut for it.
