Mumbai cops search for 71-yr-old man who spied on bathing daughter-in-law, molested her

Mumbai city news: The woman told police that her father-in-law had been touching her inappropriately over the past week

Kalyan police are on the lookout for a 71-year-old man, whose daughter-in-law complained that he would molest her and spy on her when she was bathing. Police said the man suspected that his 28-year-old daughter-and-law had complained and so fled before they could nab him.

The woman told police that her father-in-law had been touching her inappropriately over the past week. She added that he would look through the window pane whenever she was bathing. She warned him, but he continued his behaviour, which prompted her to approach the Kolshewadi police.

“We have not yet arrested the man. The woman told us her father-in-law would touch her on the stomach and then claim that it was an accident. We booked the accused under sections of the Indian Penal Code related to molestation,” said an officer from the Kolshewadi police.
