Bookies want Mumbai Indians to win the IPL cup this year, going by the odds placed.

Mumbai’s win is quoted at 82 paise for a rupee bet. That means, if Mumbai win, a punter betting on it will get 82 paise and his rupee back. The odds on Chennai Super Kings are Rs 1.17 for a rupee bet.
A Mumbai bookie said Sunday’s IPL final alone will get them business of Rs 3,000 crore from India, Pakistan, Dubai and Sharjah. IPL-3 has witnessed betting of about Rs 40,000 crore, he said.
Bets are also on for the batsmen scoring 50. Mumbai Indians captain Sachin Tendulkar is a favourite at Rs 1.2 for a rupee bet.
Indian bookies are also placing bets on who would replace Lalit Modi as IPL chief. Former cricketer Ravi Shastri and BCCI President Shashank Manohar are favourites.
