Garima Yagnik hasn’t taken any tips from her aunt, Alka Yagnik

Garima Yagnik will be making her singing debut with her single Meherbani.

Celebrity kids often follow in their parents’ footsteps. For instance, Aditya Narayan and Siddharth Mahadevan have carried forward the legacy of their fathers, singers Udit Narayan and Shankar Mahadevan.

Now, we have found out that Garima Yagnik, who is singer Alka Yagnik’s niece, will make her music debut with a single that is slated to release next month.

Ask Garmia if she has sought any pointers from her aunt, and she says, “I have not taken any tips. I have a different style of singing. But, she has encouraged me a lot.”

She adds that singer Sunidhi Chauhan’s talent inspires her. “My singing style is more western.I can relate to Sunidhi’s voice. Among male artistes, Arijit Singh is my favourite,” she says.

Apart from singing, Garima is also interested in acting. “I hope to hone my acting and singing skills through theatre and films,” she says.
