ASI arrested for sodomising home guard in Odisha

KENDRAPARA: An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of police was arrested in Odisha’s Kendrapara district on Thursday on charges of sodomising a home guard inside an outpost.

KENDRAPARA: An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of police was arrested in Odisha’s Kendrapara district on Thursday on charges of sodomising a home guard inside an outpost. Mahendra Behera, 52, who was the officiating head of Choudkulat police outpost under Pattamundai police station, allegedly sodomised a home guard on Wednesday night at the outpost, said sub-divisional police officer Kedarnath Sahoo. The arrest was made after an FIR was registered on the complaint of the 25-year-old victim posted at the outpost. Medical examination of both the accused and the victim confirmed the act.
