NEW DELHI: Cutting across party lines, women MPs in the Rajya Sabha highlighted the increasing cases of crimes against women on Wednesday. They demanded that lawmakers should discuss the issue in the current session and come up with an action plan to check these offences. Citing the Bulandshahr rape case, BSP chief Mayawati accused UP’s Samajwadi Party (SP) government of failing to prevent crimes against women.
