Arvind Kejriwal promises tax cut to small-scale industry in Batala

On his visit to the town on Tuesday, Kejriwal said all promises made in the trade, transport and industries manifesto would be fulfilled if the AAP is voted to power. He said his government would reduce tax structure from 12% to 5%. (HT File)

Targeting the Akali-BJP government, he said: “In the past 10 years, the Parkash Singh Badal-led government had looted industrialist and many units have shifted their base to other states due to wrong polices of the government.”

“After listening to the problems faced by the industrialist, we had planned this manifesto and the blueprint is prepared by a team of experts and once the manifesto is implemented, we will see goods produced in Batala in every part of the country,” he said.
