Referring to his statement in which he had accused some Canadian ministers of being supporters of the Sikh-homeland demand in India, Amarinder asked AAP leaders: “When the Canadian MPs and ministers did not object to what I said, what makes you act as their spokespersons? Is it to keep the flow of money (from abroad)?”

“I am surprised by the pain and hurt caused to you by my saying that some of the Canadian ministers are Khalistan supporters, which they are openly,” Amarinder said, reacting to the comments of AAP leaders Kanwar Sandhu and Sukhpal Singh Khaira.

Amarinder dared the AAP leaders to deny that Pannu was not working at the behest of Pakistani spy agency InterServices Intelligence (ISI) or no Canadian MP or minister had Khalistani leanings.
