Hockey champ Navjot Kaur from Shahbad among Top 30 Under 30

In the run-up to its sixth edition of Top 30 under 30, Hindustan Times profiles 30 young achievers who will be felicitated at its flagship event on May 26. They are from fields ranging from the forces, academics and art to entertainment and sports. Among them is Navjot Kaur.

Part of the historic Indian team that qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics after a gap of 32 years, and the team that clinched the 2014 Asian Games bronze, Navjot Kaur is an ace midfielder from Shahbad who took to the field at an early age, and continues to shine.

Secret sauce: Hard work, dedication and a never-say-die attitude.

Navjot Kaur is eyeing the 2018 CWG and Asian Games along with World Cup qualifiers.
