Former Congress leader Jagmeet Singh Brar said on Monday that, within 15 days, he will expose “how (Punjab Congress president) Capt Amarinder Singh and his family amassed illegal assets worth Rs 861 crore”.
“I will come out with paper evidence,” he said. “The enforcement directorate has grilled Raninder Singh (Captain’s son) for six hours (in the Foreign Exchange Management Act violation case). It is not a usual interrogation time.”

Meanwhile, Amarinder “congratulated” Brar for his “new assignment” as a “private detective” of Union finance Minister Arun Jaitley, assigned with the job of gathering proof against him.
Reacting to Brar’s claims that he was “collecting proof” of his family’s foreign transactions, Amarinder said, “I can only wish him good luck in his new assignment as I am pleased to learn that he has finally found himself rehabilitated, albeit only as a private detective of Jaitley, assigned with the job of gathering proof against me.”
The Punjab Congress chief, however, told Brar that many people had “volunteered for the job” earlier and “failed miserably”.
