As per a copy of the chargesheet procured by Hindustan Times, Jagmohan Singh of Gadaipur, Harbhej Singh of Sirsa and Hardeep Singh of Bholath, who have already been arrested, had hatched the plan along with Palwinder Singh of Delhi besides Mehanga Singh and Rattan Singh of Sirsa, against whom look out circular has been issued.

Jagmohan’s confessional statement, attached with the chargesheet, reads that he is a follower of the Sirsa-based rival faction headed by Thakur Dalip Singh.

It further reads that he used to visit Sirsa frequently and the accused hatched the plan to kill Satguru Uday Singh at the musical event besides targeting Bhaini Sahib in Ludhiana as the Namdhari sect head was “not on good terms” with Thakur Dalip Singh.

The chargesheet states that Harbhej gave three tiffin bombs to Ajay and Jagmohan two months before the car bomb blast on December 5. Harbhej, in his statement, stated that Palwinder and Mehanga handed over these tiffin bombs, packed in a cardboard box, to Rattan and him in New Delhi in the last week of November and asked him to deliver it to Jagmohan.

Jagmohan told the police that he and Ajay had brought the bombs from Jiwan Nagar in a Maruti Swift Dzire car (PB-08- CJ-6052) and handed over two of them to Hardeep. One of bombs went off in the car, claiming Ajay’s life, while two others were thrown into a pond, of which one was recovered by cops. The challan also mentions frequent telephonic conversations that took place between the accused.
