Man booked for raping minor

The Amritsar city police have booked a man identified as Mahinder Singh, a resident of Jai Singh Chowk near Gilwali Gate area, on charges of raping a minor girl aged five-and-a-half-years.

The accused has been booked under sections 376/511 IPC and 3/4 Protection of Children from Sexual offence Act, 2012 on the complaint of Babli, also a resident of Jai Singh Chowk and the mother of the minor girl.
