Property war: Abhey Oswal’s son, daughter-in-law booked

Barely a week after the death of Ludhiana-based business tycoon Abhey Oswal, chairman of Oswal Agro Mills Limited and Oswal Green Tech, Delhi Police have booked his son Pankaj Oswal, daughter-in-law Radhika Oswal and others for trespass, voluntarily causing hurt and stealing documents. The case was registered on April 5.

Barely a week after the death of Ludhiana-based business tycoon Abhey Oswal, chairman of Oswal Agro Mills Limited and Oswal Green Tech, Delhi Police have booked his son Pankaj Oswal, daughter-in-law Radhika Oswal and others for trespass, voluntarily causing hurt and stealing documents. The case was registered on April 5.

A case under Sections 323, 380, 452 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the accused at the Barakhamba Road police station following a complaint by manager, Oswal Agrotech Limited, Parveen Chopra.

In a press statement issued on Friday, managing director of Oswal Greentech Limited and Oswal Agro Mills Limited Anil Bhalla said Pankaj, who is the estranged son of Abhey Oswal, along with his wife Radhika and some goons forcefully entered the office of Oswal Greentech and Oswal Agro Mills on April 4 and took away accounts books and documents of the company after assaulting and employees. The incident was recorded in the closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras installed on the premises.

He added that Pankaj was trying to stake claim over Abhey’s assets claiming that he was his eldest son.

Abhey Oswal (67) died in Moscow on March 29.
