Three dengue cases spring up

A 25-year-old man from Chandan Nagar was found positive for dengue on Sunday. He is undergoing treatment at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH). Earlier, a 22-year-old woman from Haibowal Kalan was also found suffering from dengue on May 29.

A 25-year-old man from Chandan Nagar was found positive for dengue on Sunday. He is undergoing treatment at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH). Earlier, a 22-year-old woman from Haibowal Kalan was also found suffering from dengue on May 29.

Also, a 60-year-man from Bathinda, who is under treatment at DMCH, was found positive for the disease.
District epidemiologist Dr Anil Verma said a total of five dengue cases had been diagnosed in Ludhiana this summer. Of these two were from Ludhiana and three from other districts.

Guidelines have been served to all departments to take preventive measures to stop breeding of dengue larvae.
