50% of Rajinikanth’s 2.o is over, tweets filmmaker Shankar

Shankar Shanmugham, known for his big masala films, has tweeted to say that he has completed 50% of his ambitious new film, 2.o starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar.

Director S Shankar has said that 50 percent of the upcoming Tamil actioner 2.o starring superstar Rajinikanth is complete.

Rajinikanth, who is currently holidaying in the US, is expected to join the sets of 2.o from the first week of July. (PTI)

“100th day of 2.o shoot. Ufff... Finished two major action sequences including the climax with superstar and Akshay. Loading 50%,” Shankar had posted on his Twitter page on Wednesday.

Rajinikanth, who is currently holidaying in the US, is expected to join the sets of the project from the first week of July.

Also starring Amy Jackson and Sudhanshu Pandey, 2.o is the sequel to 2010 Tamil blockbuster Enthiran. Slated to release next year, the film features Rajinikanth as scientist Vaseegaran, and Akshay plays the main antagonist.
