Actors Dulquer Salmaan, Karthi in Mani Ratnam's next

Together they gave a huge Tamil hit, O Kadhal Kanmani. Now, filmmaker Mani Ratnam and Dulquer Salmaan will work together again in a yet-untitled Tamil film. The film will also star Karthi.

Actor Dulquer Salmaan who delivered a huge Tamil hit O Kadhal Kanmani with Mani Ratnam, is all set to work again with the acclaimed director.

Veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam directed actor Dulquer Salmaan in his hit Tamil film, O Kadhal Kanmani. Dulquer is the son of senior Malayalam actor Mammootty.

This yet-untitled film will also feature Tamil actor Karthi.

"Both Dulquer Salmaan and Karthi are on board. The regular shooting starts from September. The makers have recently registered the title Komaali, but it's not sure if it's for this film," said a source.

Reportedly, this project was originally planned with Mahesh Babu and Akkineni Nagarjuna as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.

The rest of the cast will be finalised shortly.

It has to be seen whether this film will also feature music by Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman, a regular collaborator with Ratnam.
