After Delhi’s Nehru stadium, Rajini’s 2.o team shoots at a Chennai mall

The Rajinikanth starrer Tamil film 2.o directed by Tamil director Shankar shot some critical scenes in a Chennai mall in the wee hours of Tuesday.

The shooting for Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer Tamil action thriller 2.o, directed by Shankar, seems to be making steady progress. The makers of the film shot at a popular mall in Chennai in the early hours of Wednesday, a source said.

“Director Shankar had sought special permission to shoot in Forum Vijaya Mall in Chennai. The team shot between 2 am and 6 am earlier this morning (Wednesday). Akshay Kumar and a few character artistes participated in the shoot,” said a source from the film’s unit.

The team plans to wrap up the current schedule over the weekend. “They had originally planned to shoot with the public. However, they feared being mobbed and, therefore, dropped the plan and instead chose to shoot early morning,” he said.
